The not so dirty dozen arrived in the rented house overlooking Sandy Bay just north of Holyhead ready and willing to celebrate the New Year including Mollie the cocker spaniel.
Sandy Bay in the Sunshine would you believe and even the proverbial tree in the house but one of the best parts was played by Jackie in the kitchen and fortunately there were great culinary delights provided by everyone in their turn.
And all the time looking at the views from the Cottage.
Of course the non-combatants had to make other contributions like these four jokers providing Joan & Jackie with a laugh.
First walk up Holyhead Mountain
New Years' Eve Dinner with Heather & Derrick taking the photograph.
Red Wharf Bay provided the Car Walkers with a stunning end to their trip round the island and the Intrepids with respite after their climb up the mountain. Rob with the two members of the Mountain Rescue Team sent to bring him down safely to live to walk another day.
Car walkers and tour leaders head for the pub for light relief.
The last walk along Holyhead Causeway for some, last chance for a swim for Rob before the Eagle Owl landed.
A fantastic sunset over Holyhead that went on forever.
